Catch these on special through Amazon and you'll have yourself a great set of clamps at a great price. I bought 2 of the 36 inch and 2 of the 24 inch and wish I had bought twice that at the time. A great value and more than serviceable for the weekend woodworker.
I have a number of Harbor Frieght clamps and didn't realize how light duty they were, until these arrived. At about 10 lbs these are built stong.
A very impressive clamp, I especially like how it's heavy duty construction is built to take abuse and how it should provide many years of use. It's a simple basic tool and its only requirement is to clamp pieces together and not break in the process, this it does well and so far I have no complaints.
I had previously bought a shorter version of this clamp and was happy with the results so I thought I'd try the 36" style for some slightly larger products. They work incredibly well and can be moved into and out of place with ease. The pads also prevent any damage being done to wood being held by the clamp itself. Any version of this clamp from Denali is highly recommended.
